I have a gorgeous museum quality doll that is 22 tall full bodied porcelain IRISH Lady Anne Doll that is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Her name is MARGARET ANNE, and is the namesake of the designer Margaret Anne Rothwell who is herself Irish by birth.

This gorgeous doll is proudly made in America! She is from the Williamsburg Doll Factory in Williamsburg VA.

Which is only about 40 minutes from my house. It was such a cool place to visit because it was like the lobby of Krispy Kreme Donuts because it had windows in the lobby where you could actually see the dolls being produced!

They were poured, fired, painted and assembled right there on the premises, as well as the costumes being cut, sewn and assembled there, too. They were all designed by Margaret Anne Rothwell herself. These dolls were not cheap either because they were made of the finest quality components and Margaret had very high standards of quality. She was not cheap but worth every penny. This is not your run of the mill mass produced doll.

She truly is a museum quality artist doll made by skilled artisans. Here are some features of Margaret Anne. Her head and body are full porcelain. She has felted joints and is jointed at the neck. Her dress has eyelet closures, not velcro.

She has gorgeous green paperweight glass. She is wearing a stunning deep Irish Green Moire. Satin dress with embroidered detailing & hoop style.

She has lace stockings and lace edged ivory. Pantaloons that match her underskirt. She has matching green moire satin hair bow and. Green velvet sling back slippers.

She is hand numbered and named on her neck. She is a rare low limited edition # 42/250. She comes from my smoke free home and no longer.

Has her box because she has been displayed in my. She comes with her wooden display stand.
